My Forever Sweetheart, Randy Roy Butcher, passed away at home the morning of Friday, November 8th, 2013 after a long battle with many physical ailments. He is now walking upright and not gasping for breath. Born September 1st 1948 to Beulah Beth Butcher in Salt Lake City, UT. He was raised by his maternal Grandparents Norma and Theodore Butcher. Attended Cyprus High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Marines in Vietnam. Worked 18 years for Trane Company as a welder and then worked for Long Sales. Married Susan Kelson Brown and lovingly helped raise her children Tara and DelRay and always considered them as his kids. Randy loved being with his family while fishing, camping and 4-wheeling and always looked forward to the annual deer hunt. He loved and spoiled rotten his dogs and cats. Survived by wife Susan; children Todd Hayden, Tara Brown and DelRay Brown; 4 grandchildren – Zac, Kayley, Daniel, and Jaron; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Dawn Butcher; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, mother-in-law Betty Kelson and brothers-in-law Steve and Craig Kelson. Preceded in death by grandparents, mother and step-father Beulah and Charles Jensen and father-in-law Dell Kelson. A viewing will be held Monday, November 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM followed by graveside services at Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 So Redwood Road West Jordan, UT).
