Ramon Hartwell

Ramon Hartwell was born on October 2, 1931 in Fletcher, Oklahoma to David and Laura Hartwell, passed away on January 3, 2019 at the age of 87, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ramon served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1960 in the Korean War.
He worked at Associated Foods as a forklift driver for 34 years. He loved hunting, fishing, backwoods hiking, and the outdoors.
He was an avid bowler, played baseball in high school and graduated from Fletcher High, in Oklahoma. He loved the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by the children: Tami (Craig) Kelsey, Guen (Ross) Hedden, and Philip (Angie) Hartwell. He had eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and Sheila Hartwell his ex-wife. He was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A viewing will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. Funeral services will be held Monday January 7, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 4310 South 3200 West at 1:00 PM with a viewing one hour prior.
