Pieter Cornelis Feenstra

January 19, 1944 — July 23, 2017

Pieter Cornelis Johannes Feenstra passed away at the home of his brother on 23 July, 2017 after a long and painful battle with Multiple Myeloma.
Peter came to this country in 1947 with his mother from war-torn Holland at the age of three.  He spent most of his early childhood growing up on a small farm in Murray, Utah.  He was a Vietnam veteran who married Eveline Smith upon returning home.  Before his retirement, several years ago, he worked as a senior electronic technician at MOOG Aircraft, Raytheon, EDO Western and other high tech electronic companies.
Pete was well liked and well respected.  He never had a bad word to say about anyone.  He was always kind and generous to a fault. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family members.
Peter was preceded in death by his wife, Eveline, and his son, Earl.  He is survived by his children, Eric, Heidi, Shauna and Jonathan; and his grandchildren, Jamie, Mark and Janessa.  He is also survived by one brother, Eddy and two sisters, Emily and Sorena.
He was a good son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Farewell Pete, until we meet again.
