Phyllis Jane Harris 89 years old died on June 11, 2024, in Lehi, UT, she was born on February 16, 1935, in Ellerbe, North Carolina born to Eugene H. and Wilma Hadley. She was married to Harry S. Harris rearing 5 children. Phyllis divorced after 40 years and moved to Idaho.
Phyllis had several hobbies and was an outdoor enthusiast into her 80’s. She owned her own A.T.V. and was a member of an A.T.V. club in North Idaho. Phyllis went on several club events and sanctioned rides into the mountains of Idaho and Montana. Phyllis was a skilled seamstress. She made clothing for her children, grandchildren and friends, to include prom dresses, wedding dresses and Halloween costumes that were the envy of the neighborhood. Phyllis loved to get in her car and drive for hours. She loved boating, swimming, tubbing and even white-water rafting. Her fun personality was loved by all.
She is survived by her brothers Kenny and Harry Hadley and her children Charlotte, Kelly, Steve and Jason. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene H. and Wilma Hadley, her sisters Betty and Chris along with her son Brad.
A graveside service will be held for Phyllis at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South), Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.
