Our Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great-Grandfather
 
Born in the island of Tonga, Peni immigrated from his homeland to the United States in search of a brighter future for his posterity. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was always willing to serve with a full heart and a smile. Everywhere he went, he lived and shared his testimony of the Savior. This was the embodiment of his existence. His greatest treasure in this life was his wife and his children. His world revolved around his family. Known as the favorite to all of his nephews and nieces, he will truly be missed.
Peni is survived by his eternal companion Mele Lupe Kilifi Po’uha, his children Vaitaki (Ana), Sione Nephi (Rochell), Meleane Latu (Mellisa), Sonasi Manu (Christine), Penisimani (Paula), Nafetalai Feki (Sheri), Ma’ata Nau, Eta, Sepuloni (Melissa), Sione Po’uha, Lea’aetohi, Kolo Funaki (Oliveti), 30 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren, all of whom were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his parents Ma’ata Nau Funaki Po’uha and Sione Po’uha and his daughter Kathleen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 12th, 9 – 11 AM and 11 – 12 PM at the Magna LDS Chapel located at 3151 South 7700 West Salt Lake City, Utah 84044. He will be laid to rest at the Memorial Redwood Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road Salt Lake City, Utah 84123 following the services.
