Peggy Jean “Jeannie” Nalder

June 28, 1942 — May 11, 2021

Our cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend has left her physical body as her beautiful soul now rests in Heaven. Jeannie was born on June 28, 1942 in Ogden, Utah, to Wilfred and Pauline Humphreys. Being the strong-willed woman that she was, Jeannie passed away after a nineteen-year battle with Multiple Myeloma. Throughout her life, Jeannie treasured spending time with her husband Bruce, her two boys Kevin and Todd, all of her grandchildren and her many wonderful friends. She was quite the socialite, always packing her schedule and making memories: riding horses, boating, snowmobiling, riding her bicycle miles upon miles, and vacationing. A self-proclaimed “Cali girl”, Jeannie loved taking trips to Lake Tahoe and Southern California, especially Disneyland. She was a passionate sports fan and loved attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. College football games were her absolute favorite although she never committed to either bleeding Cougar blue or Ute red! Jeannie was also the ultimate Utah Jazz fan, never missing a game. And anyone who knew Jeannie would tell you that as long as she could be outdoors and enjoying nature, she was happy. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jeannie was passionate about her service in choir, Young Women’s, and Relief Society. She spent countless hours researching genealogy and was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Jeannie, your festive and colorful wardrobe and accessories, zest for life and abundance of love leaves us with memories that will forever keep smiles on our faces and bring warmth to our hearts. We love you. Rest in Peace.
