Pauline Whitaker Landvatter

August 10, 1932 — January 24, 2019

Pauline Whitaker Landvatter passed away peacefully January 24, 2019 in Murray, Utah. She was born August 10, 1932 in Salt Lake City to Julius Apollas Whitaker and Minnie Ella Cochran who preceded her in death.  Her two sisters, 1 granddaughter and 2 greatgrandchildren also preceded her in death.  Pauline married Harry Lee Landvatter on May 8, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have been married 68 years. She is survived by her children Viki Bradshaw (Victor), Brent (Huguette), and Vincent (Nancy), 18 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served  faithfully in many callings in the church.  She also attended the temple often with Harry.  They loved to go camping and on vacations when their children were young and later in life traveled quite extensively and retired in St. George for 20 years.  They came back to Sandy 3 years ago and enjoyed spending many happy hours with their 3 children and their grandchildren.  She worked for many years of her life mainly for Dahn Brothers Fire Protection for 15 years and for the City of West Jordan for 15 years as an Executive Secretary. Pauline loved the beauties of nature so loved gardening.  Her other favorite past-times included sewing, painting, making porcelain dolls, singing and dancing.  She was devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Most of what she spent her time doing was serving others especially her family. Her funeral will be Saturday, February 2nd at the Hillcrest 5th Ward, 915 Peach Blossom Drive, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will commence at 10 A.M.-10:45 A.M. after which the funeral will be at 11 A.M. Her Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy.
