Pauline Bertha Schiffgen

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on November 15, 2014. She was born in Montpelier, Idaho on July 18, 1918 to Christian Feinauer and Sophia Scheif Feinauer. She married Joseph William Schiffgen in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 14, 1940. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities over the years. She loved her work as a secretary at Dinwoody’s Furniture Store. We will miss her sweet kind and loving spirit. She is survived by her son, S. Thomas Schiffgen and his wife, Shannon Ward Schiffgen, Roger Harrie (son-in-law), and Matt Schiffgen, a grandson that she raised as her own son. She also is survived by 10 other grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, “Bill,” Sylvia Jean Schiffgen Harrie (daughter), and William Scott Schiffgen (son).
Services will be held at Nibley Park Ward (2450 South 6th East, Salt Lake City, Utah) at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 20th, 2014. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.deseretmortuary.com. Funeral Directors: Desert Mortuary
