Paulette Richins Vredenburg

Paulette Richins Vredenburg born October 23, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA. to Erving LaGrand Richins and Lenora Augusta Reid passed away peacefully from health complications on January 21, 2019. Paulette grew up in American Fork with one sister Carol Lee Doramus. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and took extreme joy in her family. Her generosity knew no limits. Her home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay whether there was room or not, she was always there to listen and never to judge, and no one ever left her house without a full stomach. She is survived by husband Craig, daughters Lisa, Kristi (Gilbert), Monica (Chuck), Chona’ (Dave) Kari (Dennis) and son Michael (Teresa) and her Shitzu Barney. She married her devoted husband Craig Vredenburg on September 17, 1980 and they enjoyed their lives together for the last 38 years. She was the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Paulette worked as a crane operator, cook and collections officer and most recently as a product demonstrator at Costco. She loved cooking for her grandkids, notably peanut butter cookies, and playing endless rounds of “Old Maid”. She loved talking on the phone, keeping in touch with everyone, face timing her grandchildren and going to the movies. The viewing will be held on January 26, 2019 from 10:30-11:30 AM at Memorial Murray Mortuary 5850 S. 900 E. Murray, UT with funeral services to follow in the same location at Noon.
