Paula V. Arche

At 86 years old, on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great- grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully surrounded in love at her home in West Valley City, Utah. She left her earthly family to join her parents in Heaven. Paula was born on July 15, 1933, in San Martin, Sinaloa Mexico to Paula Pineda and Priciliano Valdez.
Paula’s greatest accomplishment in life was her family. She was a wonderful mother of 17 and a stepmother of 2. Her family of more than 120 members was her pride and joy. She was a great example to her family and loved each of them. She loved to care for others and often was found serving or taking meals to others. She was an exceptional and loyal friend to all that met her. Paula loved crafts, gardening, and had a great admiration and love for nature and all Heavenly Father’s creations.
In 1961, Paula converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an active member for the remainder of her life. She loved family history and did much of the work of her own family line which brought her great joy. Paula is especially remembered as a faithful woman and for her wonderful serving nature. She loved the gospel and missionary work. She magnified that quality through faith in Jesus Christ and service in the church.
Paula was preceded in death by her daughters Nora, Velia, sons David, Victor, Gerardo, husband, father, and mother. She is survived by thirteen children, Maria, Jose, Kiana, Roberto, Nora P, Raul, Marlene, J Ramiro, Elsa, Aidee, Araceli, Laura, Erika, 60 grandchildren, 61+ great-grandchildren, and 8+ great-great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a memorial service to express their love and honor her life on June 23, 2020 at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery. Many thanks to all family and friends for their love and support at this difficult time.
