Paula Lee Alba Elliott , our dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at the tender age of 97, on April 7, 2019.
She was born May 6, 1921 in Denver Colorado. She grew up in Scottsbluff Nebraska, attending schools there and graduated in the class of 1939. She later married Clarence Farley and then moved to Kearney Nebraska. In the spring of 1945 she moved to Salt Lake City with her 2 children to be with her mother. She later married Morris I. Maxwell and together they raised 7 children in a yours, mine and ours family. Many years later she married Verl C. Elliott for a short time.
She was a member of the LDS church and served in Sunday school, primary and the choir. While her children were attending school she was an active member of the PTA. She loved animals and had many different kinds throughout the years, but her passion was horses. She rode with the Silver Spurs Riding Club for several years and also had show horses.
Upon coming to Salt Lake City she worked for JC Penny Company. She attended both LDS and Henager business colleges while raising her family. She also worked in real estate, managing their office and held bookkeeping and secretarial positions throughout the years. After retiring she worked for Planned Management in both Management and Assistant positions in their mobile home parks throughout the Salt Lake valley.
She was preceded in death by her mother Darlene Kirby Rojas, her father Emmanuel Alba, brother Benny Rojas, sister Frances M. Larsen, daughter Francis J Nadler, son Morris L. Maxwell, daughter Shirley D. Hansen, son Clair A. Farley, son Ralph P. Maxwell, daughter Sharon K. Daugaard and her husbands.
She is survived by sister Dolly Church, daughter Karen L. Mott, and daughter in-law Linda M. Farley, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.Service Information
