Paul P. Hunter

Our loving Paul passed away at home surrounded by his family.  He was born to Paul and Louise Chavez Hunter in Rawlins, Wyoming.
Paul attended grammar School at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Rawlins, Wyoming and parochial school at Maur Hill in Atchison, Kansas.  He attended Casper College, was a loyal employee of the Union Pacific. He then received his Bachelors of Arts in Education from the University of Wyoming.
Paul is a loving husband, father and grandfather, loyal and fun friend, and his kindness and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him. He was a brilliant educator from 1991 through 2012, and beloved by all of his students.  He was a talented artist and his works have been shown at the University of Wyoming Art Gallery and commercially throughout Wyoming and Utah.
Paul is survived by his wife, Susan, children Melody (Rob) Daily, Cajsa (Travis) Allen, Gabriel Hunter, Sara (Cade) VanRoosendaal, Mary Hunter-Ika, Rebecca (Jason) Payne and Suzanne (James) Laforett and grandchildren:  Elena, Alessandria, Daimon, Kiana, Xander, Anthony, Christopher, Alyssa, Taylor, Dion, Deja, Jordan, Emily, Jaden, William, Chase, Michael, Callie and Leah, and his brother William (Donna) Dunn. He is preceded in death by both parents, his step father Harold Dunn and his sister Deborah Lucas.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12th, 11:00 am at the Crescent 23rd Ward, 10375 So. Leilani Dr. Sandy.  A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 – 8 pm at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 So. State St. and one hour prior to services at the church.  Interment, Lake Hills Memorial Park.  On-line condolences may be left a www.memorialutah.com.
