Paul Maurice Yarber
Beloved Father, grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle and friend to many passed away on July 22, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. He passed at the age of 47.
Maurice was born on December 14th, 1973 to David Lee Yarber and Coletta Ann Holt in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was raised by his Grandma Alberta Carter.
He loved sports and especially was down for his 49er’s and bumpin his beats in his car. He was a jack of all trades and loved to joke and talk a lot of mess with his sayings, such as “you can’t whoop me”, “I know that’s right”, and “fo sho, fo sho”.
Maurice was compassionate and would give you the shirt off his back but at the same time didn’t play, He was admired and many looked up to him. Maurice is survived by his children Isaac, Demetrio (Tryston), Maurice Jr. (Tara), Shareese, and Elijah, grandchildren Noah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Xavier, and one on the way, Estrella. Brothers and Sisters David (Tisha), Deon, Sean, Bridget, Derrick, LaMar, Brooke and Brittney. Along with an Aunt Trina Alires who was raised with him like a sister. Also, special mom Cindy Yarber, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in Utah and Rock Springs Wyoming.
He is Preceded in death by his parents David Yarber and Coletta Holt, his grandmothers Alberta Carter and Blanche Webb and his uncles Pinkie and Butch Holt.
Maurice will be greatly missed beyond words by so many. A celebration of Life will be planned for family and friends at a later date. Have a peaceful journey Blood and Hey check this out…
A service is planned for Paul on Saturday August 7, 2021 starting at 2 PM. It will be held at Memorial Redwood Chapel located at 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, UT 84123. A viewing will also be held at the same location from Noon until 2 PM.Service Information
