Paul J. Romero

Paul J. Romero died peacefully in Price, Utah on January 12th, 2020 at the age of 92 years old.
Paul is survived by his children; Tom (Connie) of Lakewood, Colorado, Larry (Annabell) of Helper, Utah, Rebekah (Frank) of Snohomish, Washington and Stan (Melinda) of South Jordan, Utah. Siblings; Veva and Celia. He was Great-Great Grandfather to 4, Great Grandfather to 37, Grandfather to 24. He is preceded in death by his wife, Olympia; children, Barbara and Harold; Grandchildren, Jason and Jarod.
Paul was born on October 14th, 1927 in Ault, Colorado. He married Olympia Montano in 1948. After living in Durango, they settled in the Salt Lake City area where Paul worked and retired from the Salt Lake Board of Education. He and Olympia raised 5 children and their home was an open door to others in the community. Paul was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and left countless impressions on those he taught. Most important to Paul was his faith and even in his last days spent time praying for all of his family.
Viewing is scheduled for 6:00 – 9:00 PM, Friday, January 17th and 10:00 – 11:00 AM Saturday, January 18th at Mount Calvary Family Worship Center 3050 S. 3200 W. in West Valley City, Utah.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday January 18th at Mount Calvary Family Worship Center with interment at Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 S. Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Paul’s life. The family would like to thank the staff at Heirloom Inn in Price, Utah and Home Health CNS for their care.
