Paul Cazier

August 16, 1922 — January 14, 2015

Paul B. Cazier (92) was born August 16, 1922 in Afton, WY. He died January 14, 2015. He was the oldest son and fourth child of Earl and Fannie Blacker Cazier.
He served an LDS mission in California from 1942-1944. He returned to the farm to help his father until World War II ended. He moved to Logan, UT where he met and married Lois Call on January 30, 1947. He was a barber in Salt Lake for over 50 years.
Paul and Lois lived in Logan, Afton, and in Salt Lake. Together they raised four children: Calvert (Anne), Connie (Ernest) Burgess, Paulette (Gary) Hansen, Sydnie (Greg) Olsen. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he served faithfully in many callings. He served as a Patriarch in Wells Stake, branch president in the Temple View Branch, bishop in Whittier Ward, stake high council, and many years as a counselor in several bishoprics. Dad was a man of faith and integrity.
Lois died in 2004, and in September 2011 Paul married Eva Mills whose love and companionship was a tremendous blessing for dad and our family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lois; daughter-in-law Carol; two great-grandchildren, Samantha Cazier and Trent DuVal; one brother, Quinn; four sisters Dona Tolman, Dora Perry, Ireta Kennington, and Marveline Jenkins. He is survived by his children, 26 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and two sisters LueDene Jenkins, and Billie Renee Nield.
The family wishes to thank Legacy Village Memory Care for their kindness and compassion they showed to Paul and Eva.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 12:00 with a viewing from 10:00-11:45 at the Whittier Ward 1515 South 200 East. There will be a viewing Friday, January 16th from 6:00-8:00pm at Deseret Mortuary 36 East 700 South.
