Patrick Jeff Sizemore (Paddy), 68, passed away November 22, 2015 surrounded by family at St. Marks hospital. Patrick was born October 3, 1947 in Ogden Utah to Pat and Helen Sizemore. He was married to Linda Sizemore the love of his life on June 24, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Patrick graduated from Weber State with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology. Patrick worked for Utah Department of Transportation for 40 years as an engineering geologist. Patrick was an outdoors man, he hunted with his father Pat for many years. He loved to explore the western states with his wife Linda, and Jeep on roads all day. They would always take along their dogs Mason and Maddi, Road trips were among his favorites, traveling to abandoned mines and ghost towns. In a typical day Patrick would enjoy morning coffee with his wife Linda, and they would take Mason and Maddi for a long walks together every day. Patrick was a very kind and giving man always there for you when you needed anything. He had a lovely sense of humor and smiled all the time. He is survived by his wife Linda, sister Janet Greco (Dave), brother Bret Sizemore (Yvonne), his four children, Michelle Saunders (Lemoine), Michael Sizemore, Robert McConkay, Cheryl Butterfield (Ken), his eight grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Colton, Ashlee, Zach, Kimberly, Melissa, and Chelsea, along with three loving nieces Katy, Nicole, and Rebekah. Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, and one grandchild. A graveside service will be held on November 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior, at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
He had such a great sense of humor that every time that Linda would ask what’s for dinner this was his response, “Ham, yam, Spam, beef, bull, bear, Frog Hog and Dog, Barbeque Buffalo Rump Butts, and Pies covered and Pies Uncovered.”
