Patrick Cannon

Dad was born on April 20, 1947 in Merced, CA to Frederick Clare and June Morey Cannon and passed away on April 22, 2015 two days after celebrating his 68th birthday. He is the oldest of 6 children, Paul, Mark, Greg, Teresa and David. Dad grew up in the Mohave Desert in North Edwards, California where his curiosity and ingenuity lead his siblings on many adventures during his youth. He was very athletic and loved any outdoor activity which lead him to working as a Golf Course Superintendent and he also started his own Lawn Maintenance business. He attended Bakersfield College and graduated with his bachelor`s. It was at Bakersfield College where he met his eternal companion, Peggy Sue Hemingway. Mom and Dad married on June 21, 1968 and were later sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Oakland, CA Temple on June 21, 1969. They had 3 sons, Timothy (Heather), Christopher (Heather), Matthew (Megan) and 2 daughters, April (Brian) and Christiana. Mom and Dad have 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. Dad was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, children and siblings. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on April 27, 2015 at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan with a viewing one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment to follow.
