Patricia Hague

January 12, 1944 — February 4, 2022

Patricia (Pat) Hague, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, age 78, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 4, 2022.
Pat was born on January 12, 1944 in Blanding, Utah to Evan Henry and Winafred Lake Carroll. She spent most of her childhood growing up in the Salt Lake Valley with her two sisters. She attended Olympus Junior High and Olympus High School where she formed friendships that would continue throughout her lifetime. She attended BYU and the University of Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in the New Zealand South Mission from 1968 – 1969.
She married Brian Hague in the Salt Lake Temple on August 3, 1970 and they were the parents of two children, later divorced. She was a loving and devoted mother and the greatest joy in her life was her family. She was the happiest when she was able to spend time with all of them together. Pat served faithfully in many church callings and was an example of charity and service. She was a gifted teacher and especially loved teaching Primary because she loved being around children and listening to them sing Primary songs. In 2008 Pat moved to Fresno, California to live with her son and daughter-in-law and later relocated with them to Henderson, Nevada. As her health started to decline, she was lovingly and patiently cared for by her daughter-in-law until October of 2020, at which time it became necessary for her to live in a memory care facility in Sandy, Utah where she resided until her death.
She is survived by her daughter (Alison Pytlik), daughter-in-law (Heather Hague), and son (Jared Hague), seven grandchildren and their spouses, one great granddaughter, her two sisters (ElRae Bench and LeAnn Carroll), and many nieces and nephews and their children who she also loved.
