Patricia "Patty" Ann Andersen Hardcastle, born November 3, 1955, passed away June 7, 2024.
Patty was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was married to Brent D. Hardcastle, her eternal companion, on August 25, 1978. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Patty served in many different callings, finding her greatest joy in serving the young women and other youth.
One who would not let a good time pass her by, Patty was always involved with some new project or activity. She had a deep love for music, especially the piano. Music was her passion, and she loved sharing it, whether she was singing the ballads of the band Chicago or performing dramatic renditions of Broadway tunes. She also loved all things Disney and would smile and say when asked how old she was that she was as old as Disneyland. Patty was known for her infectious laugh and her love of smiling, which brightened the lives of everyone around her. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her eternal companion, Brent; her son, J.I. (Lindsay); her two daughters, Jessie Kay Munro (Ben) and Katie Marie McQuarrie (Justin); her 12 grandchildren; and multiple brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Mary Louise Andersen, and her brother William.
