Pamela Sue Carlson

Pamela Sue “Pam” Carlson passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 62 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on November 19, 1958, to Robert and Marjorie Lawson.
Pam loved to fish, crochet, take care of her many plants, and always had at least one or two dogs to care for. She also enjoyed the occasional “quick trip” to Wendover.
She was one tuff cookie, and chose a profession in the construction industry. She loved being a traffic control flagger. In the summertime she would always be so tan, and have raccoon eyes from her glasses. She loved to spend as much time as she could fishing.
She is survived by her children Destiny Carlson (Jeramie Wright), Jennifer Newport (Robert), and Joseph Hall; her sister and brothers Shauna (Mike), Rob (Cecily), Ken (Lynna), and Brian (Teresa); six grandchildren, Gregory (Shalayne), Alexis (Austin), Kaleb, Gaven (Amanda), Jacob, and Tesla; and six great-grandchildren, Kayston, Bowen, Vynessa, Gregory, Millie, and Elijah.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Marjorie Lawson, and her sister Reta Jaramillo.
A viewing will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary on Tuesday, March 9, at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM. The services will be livestreamed via Zoom and can be joined from home by following the instructions below:
