Pamela Rae Solomon

July 11, 1962 — August 19, 2016

Our precious wife, mother, sister, aunt & friend was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us in a rafting accident on August 19, 2016. Pam was born July 11, 1962 to Bryan Dalton Hall and Velma Rae Shipp Hall in Murray, Utah. She was the 6th and youngest child. Pam is survived by her sweetheart and husband Scott, by her adoring children, son TJ (Cassie), son Mikey (Emi), & son Dylan; brother Mike Hall (Winon); brother Danny Hall (Cathy), sister Debbie; her Aunt Sis and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob (Lorna), brother Bryan, 4 nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Pam was an extremely talented photographer who helped thousands of young people find their smile. She served as a trustee of the Joyful Welcome Committee, a non-profit organization that provides clothing, blankets and supplies to new born babies and their mothers. She was active in her community. Worked on fund raisers to help families in need. Pam held many positions in her church and was currently the Young Women’s President for her ward. She was very committed to her girls and her calling. She had unwavering faith in God and in her beliefs.
Pam and Scott took care of our elderly mother for 10 years. They made it possible for the family to stay connected to mom and each other by hosting many of the holiday and family gatherings in addition to opening their home to the rest of the family for visiting with mom.
Pam had an immeasurable amount of love and devotion for her family. She would have sacrificed everything on their behalf. Her love was unconditional and unlimited.
She spent her life in the service of others and seldom gave a thought to her own needs. She was positive, upbeat and happy. Pam has been the rock and the glue that held our family together and nearly every person she came in contact with left feeling a little more light in their life, a little more hopeful, a little more loved.
She will be missed so very much by all who knew and loved her.
Pam’s auto-immune disease prevented her from buying life insurance.  Her children have set up a fund to help with expenses. It can be found at: www.gofundme.com/2ktqjj8.
The viewings for family & friends will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday, August 25, 2016 and on Friday August 26th, 2016 at 9:30 am with services following at 11am at the LDS Church 2700 West 7000 South in West Jordan.  Grave dedication will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial 3401 S. Highland Drive, SLC.
