Pale “P Dawg” Fina’I

Paletoaga Tusitala Fina’i, age 62, passed away on June 28, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on June 26, 1958, in Samoa to Tusitala To’o Fina’i and Puese Lausei Felaga’i.
Pale grew up in Laie, Hawaii where he played football and became a Kahuku Red Raider for life. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially the Laie boys. He enjoyed cricket and talking stories. Pale will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children Lynell Hart, Poly Hays Fina’i, Tiffany Timenna Fina’i; grandchildren Lily Hart, Ruby Hart, and Serenity Hart; siblings Susuga Fina’i, Vaefaga Parkos, Fagalepisa Fina’i, Lefuga Fina’i, Lualima Fina’i, Fuatino Alo, Tusitala Fina’i Jr., and Toavalu Alapa.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Vilivili Fina’i, Alauni Delacerna, Siasulu Fina’i, and Paufai Fina’i.
A viewing will be held at 8:30 AM July 8, 2020 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
Due to the pandemic, social gatherings are limited to 50 people and masks are mandatory. Social distancing measures will be enforced.
