Olive Shutt

Born August 7, 1919. Died November 4, 2015. Olive was born in Ithaca, New York to Matie and Nathan Hanford. She was the youngest of six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, half-brother Rodney, sisters Zaida Pierce, Jeanette Hanford, Elsie Perry and brother Donald. She is survived by daughters Jane Benton (Clayton) of Loveland, Colorado and Carol Fallon (Roger) of Salt Lake City and granddaughter Karen Fallon.
Olive married Willard S. Schutt on August 29, 1942 in Interlaken, New York.
Olive attended Cornell University for two years before transferring to the Eastman Dental Dispensary where she received her training as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She worked mostly in the schools educating students about good dental hygiene. Near the end of her career she worked in field research for a dentist at Eastman Dental Dispensary.
