Olive Beth Kimball Mack

July 31, 1922 — September 14, 2018

Olive Beth Kimball Mack died on Friday, September 14, 2018 from the natural affects caused by 96 years of an amazingly full and abundant life.
Her mortal journey started in Safford, AZ on July 31, 1922. “Bobby” as she was called by her family and friends was the second of four children and the only daughter of Spencer W. and Camilla Eyring Kimball. Her life was full of adventure, laughter, service, love and dedication to her family, friends, church, and the Savior that she loved so much.
She was married to Grant Miller Mack in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on December 6, 1943. They were blessed with 7 children.
Her love for people was demonstrated in the 19 years she served as an elementary school teacher. She also enjoyed 22 years singing and traveling the world as an alto in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She was a devoted wife, and raised and influenced three generations of grateful descendants.
Bobby was known for her friendliness, generosity, patience, and compassion. She loved parties and entertaining. She had talent for music, sewing, and a remarkable ability to efficiently prepare wonderful meals for large gatherings. Later in life she developed a love for oil painting and her artwork graces the homes of each of her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers Spencer Levan Kimball and Edward L. Kimball.
Survivors include her brother Andrew (Phyllis) Kimball, her 7 children, Miriam (Lynn) Richins, Randall (Patricia) Mack, Stephen (Rosita) Mack, William (Sandra) Mack, Spencer (Jane) Mack, Thomas (Allison) Mack, and Camilla (Steve) Conaway and her 192 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A special thanks to all those who so tenderly cared for her in her final years. The numerous visits from family and friends in the final months of her life meant everything to her. And the joy she felt from each call or visit was returned in kind. Each was blessed by her pleasant and infectiously cheerful company.
