Olive Angell Johnson

Olive Angell Johnson, age 90, passed away on March 8, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Olive was born on October 7, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Charles Wilkinson Angell and Ellen Maud Rees. She married Edward Lynn Johnson on August 30, 1945. Mom has spent her life here on earth continually, unselfishly, serving and caring for and loving her husband, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and her Church. We have truly had our very own “angel” among us. Family is her life. And, we know that along with Dad they will continue to be our “angels” watching over, protecting and loving us from above. Olive is survived by her children, Kathlene (Craig) Hardcastle, Janene (Gary) Beal, Gary Ray Johnson, Wesley Kyle Johnson, Lynnette Johnson, Nancy Protius Angell, and James Oliver (Nathalie) Johnson; siblings, Sheldon Layon (Marjorie) Angell, Lillian May (Jay) Palmer, and Larry Lee Angell; brother in-laws, William James Kilday, Donald Dale Owsley; 29 grandchildren; and 56 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Lynn Johnson; son Randy Lynn Johnson; siblings Elva (Beldon) Carlson, Charles Leslie Angell, Victor Lamar (Jane) Angell, Verne Weston (Gayle) (Vanda) Angell, Winona Kilday, Ellen Charlene Owsley; granddaughter, Elizabeth LeeAnn Nyx; sister in-law, Diane Bruner. A Graveside service will be held on March 28, 2016, 11:00 AM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
