Olevia Toalima Chang

June 20, 1939 — March 12, 2019

On March 12, 2019, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones.
Olevia was born on June 20, 1939 in Saoluafata, Western Samoa to her loving parents, Paovale and Toalima Mulitalo. She married her eternal companion, Alisa T. Chang, and raised five beautiful children in Laie, Hawaii.
Olevia had a huge heart with a desire to serve her Heavenly Father and lived to take care of her family. There is nothing she loved more than her family, and she was happiest when they were all together.  She lived a full, faithful life with a legacy that will live on forever.
Olevia is survived by her five children: Junior (Michelle) Alisa, Dunn (Stacey) Alisa, Anne (Bill) Unutoa, Paula (Tusi Sr.) Aiono, and Ashgton (Rebecca) Alisa; her 18 grandchildren; her 19 great-grandchildren; her sisters: Elenoa Coleman and Talaloa Pe’a; and her brother: Leilini Ita.
A celebration of Olevia’s life and memory will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at promptly 9:00am at the Mountain View Memorial Estates located at 3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121. Interment will follow
