Karen Anne Holt, age 76, passed away on February 4, 2022 in Asheville, North Carolina. She was born on May 7, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert Lewis Holt and Marjorie Jensen Holt.
Karen was an avid collector of Asian art and sculpture. She enjoyed water color and all things creative, but her favorite things were sewing, quilting, and tending her flowers. She was a gifted and dedicated registered nurse for many years; working primarily in intensive care units. Karen loved animals; particularly Teacup Yorkies. Her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren.
Karen is survived by her three children: Joshua (Laura); Andrei, and Elida (Jake); as well as 3 siblings: Katherine, Robert and Elida. Karen has four grandchildren: Claire and John (daughter and son of Josh) and Tripp and William (sons of Elida).
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Robert, and youngest brother, Peter.
Funeral Services will be held on February 28, 2022 at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited to a viewing beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will be at Memorial Holladay Cemetery, 4900 South Memory Lane, Holladay, Utah.
