Nona Ferguson

February 20, 1917 — December 21, 2014

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother passed away December 21, 2014. Nona was born February 20, 1917 in Keats Kansas. She worked on the family farm in Oberlin, Kansas. Married to James Ferguson on March 11, 1940, they had a daughter, Patricia Ann Ferguson. Nona lived a full, happy, long life. She and James owned a restaurant/roller skating rink in Loveland Colorado. They later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she was an accountant and buyer for a major department store. She is survived by daughter Patricia (Joe) Cabibi, two grandchilden, Paul Cabibi and Julie (Scott) Kearl, great grandchildren Jeffrey (Jessica) Cabibi and Ashley (Derek) Simon, McKenzie Kearl, Dallin Kearl, and great, great grandchildren Jeffrey Simon and William Simon. Preceeded in death by mother Nellie B. Olson, father Arthur E. Olson, sister LaVerne (George) Hansen, brother Glen (Ruth) Olson, niece Cathy Olson. Services will be held at Lake Hills Memorial Estates, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah December 27, 2014. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services, which will begin at 1:00 pm. Internment will follow immediately after the services. The family would like to express our great appreciation for the service and attention given to Nona by the nurses and aids at Care Source
