On Sunday, August 4, 2019, Nicholas Scott Speirs, loving son and brother, passed away at age 32.
Nick was born on March 1, 1987 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dennis David and Michelle Speirs Montano. On November 16, 2011 he married Melissa Anderson.
Nick’s passions in life were his family, skateboarding, art, tattoos and tree work. He was a sponsored skateboarder; he won several competitions and he loved spending time at the skatepark or just skating anywhere.
He was an amazing artist. He loved doing tattoos and drawings. He forever impacted so many lives by displaying his love through his many talents.
Nick had an infectious laugh, a huge heart, a beautiful soul, and fierce love for his family and friends. He will forever be missed.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, Dennis. He is survived by his wife Melissa, stepson Matthew, stepdaughter Mackenzie; his mother, Michelle Montano and her husband Felipe; his sister Mia Montano; his grandparents Tom and Shirley Speirs, Scott and Shawna Isaacson, Ronald and Pam David, Baudelio and Petra Montano; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends may gather Friday August 16, 2019, 6:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123. A celebration of life is to follow at the same location from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.Service Information
