Nicholas Dane Hiatt, age 32, passed away on April 17, 2019. He was born July 28, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Glenn E. Hiatt and Roberta J. Moser Hiatt.
Nick graduated from Murray High in 2004. He was on the swimming team which he loved. He considered himself a “Geek” because he liked Math, video games, and anime. He collected comic books and was a fan of Batman. He was a “favorite Uncle” to many nieces and nephews. He made friends easily and was beloved by most people he met. Nick knew the scriptures very well. He could “recite them on command” according to his beloved Bishop Dietline. He was very giving, even in death. He was a donor of his body for others.
He is survived by his father, Glenn E. Hiatt and step-mother, Nina Hiatt; mother, Roberta J. Hiatt; siblings: Domonica R. and Jeremy Landers, Whitney Hiatt, Ryan M. Hiatt, R.Greg and Rikki Hiatt; Step-brother, Dustin Denovellis, Nicole Glenn and Kira Sue Smith; grandmother, Dorothy R Hiatt; aunts and uncles: Sauna L. Hiatt, Holly S. Clouse ( Richard), and Patti D. Hiatt; many cousins; and special friends, Greg (Jammie) Nelson and Adam (Nicole) Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Veraun G. Hiatt; and uncle, Robert Stonehock.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Westbrook 2nd Ward, 6500 South Dixie Dr. West Jordan. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.Service Information
