Nia Rolynne Kates

Baby Nia Rolynne Kates was stillborn at 6 months (25 weeks). She was born 1lb 12 oz at 12.5 in long at Jordan Valley Medical Center in West Jordan, Utah. Baby Nia made a huge impact in lots of lives before she was planned to arrive. But she made an even bigger inspiration to her mother Danyell Kates.
Nia was very active in her cozy place in her mother’s belly. She would make her presence known specific times throughout the day, especially at night. She made her mommy feel great, when mommy would view her, she would always have her thumb in her mouth with her legs crossed. She also loved to help her mommy eat. There was nothing she didn’t like.
When she arrived on may 11,2022, she was beautiful! Baby Nia had a head full of hair, full set of eyebrows, adorable set of feet and hands, and a face that no one can ever forget. Nia will never be forgotten to many and her future relatives will know exactly who she is.
Nia Rolynne Kates was the daughter of Danyell Kates (birthplace St. Louis, Mo) and Terrance Gaines (birthplace Orlando, FL). She is the Grandchild of Nathaniel Kates and Shelda Brown, sister of Xena and Xy’Aire Gaines and Great grandchild of Charles and Margret Kates which she was processed in death. Nia is the niece to Ariel Gillespie, Na’shell Kates, Naytrice Kates, Justin Brown, and Travion Watson.
