Nelson "Fabian" Martinez

On September 14, 2024, the unthinkable happened, Fabian Martinez was called home to our heavenly father at the young age of 54. Fabian was born on February 5th 1970, to Nelson Vivian Martinez and Rosina Paul in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Fabian is survived by the love of his life his wife of 31 years, Eva Martinez. Along with his 5 children and 23 grandchildren. Fabian (Julie spouse, Fabian Jr., Mylez, Luciano, Aaliyah, Olivia, Ivee), Monique (Trinity, Marcos, Delilah, Hazy), Monica (Devianah, Eliseo, Nano, Miqqo, GG), Shantel (Angelo, Cisco, Mylah), Alysia (Achaius). Also, by his beloved sisters Rosalee (Mark), Roxanne, Lora (Torrey) and nieces and nephew he loved dearly. Preceded in death by his grandparents Grandma and Grandpa Martinez and Grandma and Grandpa Herrera, his father, Nelson Vivian Martinez, and his nephew Mario James Ulibarri.

Fabian had a huge impact on every person that got chance to meet him. He was always giving a helping hand and if you needed him, he was there. He loved his San Franscisco 49ers and has been a true fan since childhood. Joking around, making people laugh, giving everyone he knew a nickname was his go to. Fabian was a true believer and dedicated himself to GOD and spreading the word of GOD. He did many outreach activities like helping the homeless and going to the jails to preach the Lord’s word. Fabian was truly an amazing person, son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend. In the hearts of those who loved you, you will always be there.

His one final wish was that everyone would have a relationship with GOD so that one day we will all meet again in Heaven.

There will be a viewing held at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 S 900 E, Murray, at 12:00 pm with the funeral service following at 2:00pm. There will be a reception held at Centro De Vida Cristian Church aka VIVA Church 1055 North Redwood Road, Salt Lake City at 4:00pm.
