Neldon Glen Hyatt

Today I lost my best friend and the love of my life on April 6, 2016 in Salt Lake City, UT. Neldon was born on Oct. 1, 1941 in Lyman, UT. to Glen and Edna T. Hyatt. He graduated from South High School and served honorably in the U.S. Navy. Most of his career was spent in the banking equipment and installation field as a technician for NCR, Mosler, and LeFebure. His later careers included rock broker and superintendent for a road construction company.
Neldon married Kristin Pederson (deceased) and Tanya Jensen (deceased). In 1978, Neldon married the love of his life, Jackie Covington Hyatt.
He is survived by his wife Jackie, son Travis (Lorie), daughter Shelley, grandsons Travis, Bobby (Erin), Kenny, and Wesley, granddaughter Melissa and special granddaughter Jamie, and four great-grandchildren, McKayla, Madison, TJ, and Tucker. His brothers, Kirk (Tanya), Dallas (Vickie), Vernon (Diane).
Preceded in death by his parents, wives Kristin and Tanya, and his sister Darkas.
He shared with us his vast knowledge and mad skills by showing us “little tricks” to survive anything that life threw our way. Most of all, he shared his never-ending nonjudgmental love with all of us. He was so proud of his family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 12:00pm at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 E. 7800 S. Cottonwood Heights. A viewing will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm at the same location.
