Natalie Varney Loveland passed away on October 23, 2019 at the young age of 38. She was born on May 14, 1981 to Thomas and Pamela Varney. She graduated from Kearns High. She married Bill Loveland on August 28, 2001. He passed in 2003. They had a son together in 2002 whom she loved very much.
Although Natalie had many health challenges in her life, she accomplished so much. Given the perfect body she would have been unstoppable. She was determined, strong willed, and courageous but also kind, loving and funny. She might have been small in stature but was a big presence in her family’s lives and will be greatly missed. Natalie loved everything Disney, Lego, Funko, Anime, Hello Kitty, cooking, baking, going to movies, Depeche Mode, concerts, and food trucks. Her favorite vacations were spent in Disneyland and on the beach with family. She loved her dog Saya and would spend time taking her to the park or playing fetch in the front yard. Most of all she loved her son William. They were always watching movies, playing video games, and talking.
Natalie spent a lot of time at Primary Children’s Hospital in her younger years. Her heart would go out to those that cared for her so she found a way to give back by donating a Christmas tree to the Festival of Trees every year. She always decorated the trees with things she loved regardless of time or cost spent and would stress that maybe the tree would not sell but they always did.
She is survived by her parents Thomas and Pamela Varney, sister Jennifer (Scott) Brown, brother Tom (Cassi) Varney, grandmother Lorraine Varney, her boyfriend of many years Robert Nielsen, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and her greatest love and accomplishment, her son William.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Loveland, grandparents Harold and Pauline Bryner, Thomas Varney, Aunt Tami Waldron, cousin Nick Seal and nephew Tyler Bryner.
