Nancy J. Andersen

On April 24, 2020, our wonderful mother and grandmother peacefully passed away at home and returned to the arms of her soulmate Larry. Nancy was born February 2, 1942 to Carol and Mary Peterson. On September 18, 1964, Nancy married Larry Andersen and raised a beautiful, loving family. Nancy enjoyed crocheting and quilting, sewing gifts year-round, and was a fantastic cook and baker. Nancy loved going camping and spending time in nature. Family and friends will remember all the great times spent at the Andersen home, especially Christmas Eve, where the spirit of Christmas truly came to life. Nancy meant so much to so many people and her door was always open to those in need.
Our mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend will forever be missed.
Nancy is survived by her children Terrie (Corey) Brewer, Nannette Thomas, Ricky (Cindy) Thomas, Scott (Kris) Andersen, Troy (Nannette) Thomas, Larry Andersen Jr., 19 grandkids, 37 great-grandkids, 1 great-great- grandchild, and brother Ronald Peterson.
She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Andersen, parents Carol and Mary Peterson, siblings Val, Pat, and Gayle.
Nancy will greatly be missed.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM April 29, 2020 at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123.
