Namulauulu Falealili Voi Li’A Aiono

Namulauulu Falealili Voi Li’a Aiono, age 78, passed away on September 9, 2018, in West Valley City, UT. He was born on November 8, 1939, in Solosolo, Apia, Samoa. He married Tagitonuga Aiono.
Li’a was an amazing father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, always putting his family first. He took great pride in his family and was a family man. Not only was he a great father but also a servant of the Lord. He served as a Bishop and a Missionary with the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints. Li’a was a great leader and always will be remembered as such. He was a hard worker and had many skills and hobbies such as carpentry, was a musician, and a great actor. We will remember all of his amazing traits and his love.
He is survived by his wife Tagitonuga Aiono, 9 sons, 1 daughter, 50 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Tolovae, and brother Tavita.
Funeral services to be held September 28, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the Sauniatu Ward, 4950 South 1950 West, Taylorsville, UT, 84118. There will be a family service taking place on September 27, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:30 PM at the same location. Interment to follow the funeral service at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT, 84123.
