Naaman Stephen Buckmiller

March 11, 1921 — March 20, 2017

Our Hero, Naaman Stephen Buckmiller, passed peacefully from this earth at home on March 20th. He is survived by his wife Doris, daughters Annette, (Bob) Jolleen, and Gloria (John), his son Bradley, (Victoria) 27 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was born in 1921 in Deweyville, Utah to Emma Angel Tolman and E. Stephen Buckmiller. He was preceded in death by his wife Sophia, his sister Naomi, brothers Donald and Richard, daughters Wendy and Colleen, and grandson Ryan.
He served an LDS mission in the Northern States, then proudly served his country as an Army Staff Sergeant in the Pacific Theater during WWII, and then spent his life loving and serving his family, and the Lord. As a printer by trade he was a perfectionist and the consummate professional. In later life he and Doris served a mission in St. George for the Visitor and Historical Centers.
There will be a viewing at Memorial Murray Mortuary 5850 South 900 East Murray, UT 84121 On Sunday March 26th from 5-7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday March 27th, (11:00 a.m. viewing) at the Union Fort 7th ward, 6770 S. 500 E, Midvale, UT 84047.
Interment will be at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 Bengal Blvd. Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121.
