Myrta George Faulk

Myrta, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend went Home on November 17, 2021, in Sandy, Utah. She was 90 years old. She was born on November 19, 1930, in Eden, Idaho to Ira and Frances Hepworth.
She was married to LeRoy Woodland (deceased) and later married Carl Faulk (also deceased) on July 9, 1957 in Jerome, Idaho.
Myrta loved music and it surrounded her in everything she did. She shared that love with her family and friends and anyone who was ready to sing around the piano with her. She loved to sew, crotchet, quilt, and the Utah Jazz.
She is survived by her six children: David (Mary) Woodland, Lorna (Clay) White, Kim (Mike) Finnegan, Wade Faulk, Scott (Kapreal) Faulk, and Wendy (Larry) Miller. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and spouses, 46 great-grandchildren and spouses, 9 great-great grandchildren, and sister Fae Winsor and brother Howard Hepworth.
The family would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the tremendous love and care shown to Myrta by the staff and caregivers at The Wentworth at Willow Creek, Atlas Homecare and Hospice, and Country Lane.
Family and friends may call at a viewing held on Sunday, Nov, 21, 2021 at 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, Ut 84121. Family and friends may also attend a graveside service on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, Ut 84121. If you have one of Myrta’s hats, you may want to wear it.
