Mylina Wolfblack

June 3, 1988 — January 26, 2014

Mylina Raye Wolfblack, age 25, peacefully departed this life on January 26, 2014 at the Regional Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born at the Crow Hospital, June 3, 1988 to Joy Wolfblack and Merlin Ray Crazymule. Mylina spent the greater part of her life in Salt Lake City where she had many friends and family. She was a beloved member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and could be frequently found in their programs and activities. She had an amazingly big heart when it came to helping others whether family, friends, or anyone in need, often enduring painful personal sacrifices in the process.
She was proud to say that she was an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne tribe. She took particular delight traveling among friends and family of the tribe. She loved people in general and could mingle and have fun with everyone. She spoke Spanish in addition to English, which enabled her to talk with almost everyone she came in contact with. She was a great listener and made friends all along her path through life.
Mylina especially enjoyed and cherished her relationship with Donillo Angel Alvarenga, whom she loved very much. Together they had two wonderful children, Pona and Gabriel Wade Wolfblack. They have been the pride and joy of her life. She was a very loving and caring mother, with an unbelievable amount of patience.
Mylina overcame many significant obstacles to keep her family together and comfortable. She struggled with numerous health issues, but never let them get in the way of her doing anything she could for her family and friends. She was always more worried about others than herself. Despite the challenges, she graduated from Horizonte High School and attended some university courses. Recently, she rediscovered the truths of the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, and faithfully read and taught them to her family, and always carried the scriptures wherever she went.
Mylina is survived by her mother, Joy Wolfblack; father, Merlin Crazymule, and the love of her life, Donillo Alvarenga. Her boys, Pona and Gabriel Wade Wolfblack; sisters: Charlie (Kirk) and Tia; brothers: Thomas (Pillar) Marvin, Fernando and Ross Allen Poindexter; nieces and nephews: Kyle, Rebecca, and Reyna. She is preceded in death by grandparents: Oran C and Josephine Wolfblack; grandmother, Marcella Crazymule; sister, Alightadawn (Frankie); uncles, Dwayne, Doug, Wayne; aunts, Arlene, Joanne, Joyce, Rena; and niece, Graciella.
Many tears were shed when you left and many laughs and stories were told. WE ALL MISS YOU DEARLY.
