Morris Jorgensen entered this world on a warm August day in 1922. He was born in Ephraim Utah to Lyman Jorgensen and Emma Thompson Jorgensen.
He attended and graduated from Ephraim High School, and attended Snow College, soon after graduation was drafted into the army, where he served in the Philippines during WWII.
Upon return he met and married his sweetheart of 67 years, Theone Syme, and had a daughter Marsha. Morris and Theone loved to dance and continued to dance throughout their entire marriage.
Morris was a welder, retiring from Eaton Metal after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Kearns Lyons Club for 12 years. He loved bowling, bingo, Wednesday trips to Wendover and lunch with his and Noni’s friends.
Morris was a loving husband, doting father, endearing grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. Morris loved children and they loved him. While Morris was quiet spoken and a man a few words, when he spoke everyone listened. Always a joke or story to tell and a ear to listen.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bud Jorgensen, Roger Jorgensen and Kent Jorgensen. Sisters, Ruth Jorgensen and Leda Jorgensen. Survived by his loving sweetheart Theone Syme Jorgensen, daughter Marsha Kluge, son in law Brent Kluge, grandsons Dale Kluge, Ryan Kluge, granddaughter Dana Kluge, great grandchildren Haleyann Kluge, Tevin Kluge, Kendra Kluge, Mikayla Kluge, Hailey Kluge, and Talon Kluge and Great Great Grandson Rylee D.
