Monte B. Reed, 68, passed away June 2, 2017.  He was born September 23, 1948 to John David Reed and La Faun Lundberg in Salt Lake City, Utah.
 
Monte loved taking care of his cat, fixing things with his tools, spending time with his family, working at Apollo Burger, working with Heather doing repairs to his home and living in his own home with his wife.  Monte did not go away, He walks beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear to all our hearts.
 
Monte lived with his wife, Loretta.  He had a passion for animals and loved his pet cat dearly.
 
Monte is survived by his wife, Loretta; sons, Jeffery and Christopher and his cat, Pascy.
 
He is preceded in death by his mother La Faun Lundberg, father John David Reed and daughter, Jennifer Reed.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  Friends may visit with the family prior to services from 1:00 to 1:45 PM.
 
Interment at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
