Monica Ann Brubaker Stafflund

Monica Ann Brubaker Stafflund, a loving mother, sister, and daughter, died April 10, 2019 after an illness of several months. She loved life as much as her family and always felt the need to protect and shelter everyone around her, even the animals received her special attention.
She was kind and loving, sometimes to a fault.
Born on July 7, 1954, in Nampa, Idaho, Micki grew up in Salt Lake City. She graduated from Kearns High School, after which she attended the local technical school and became a draftsman. She married and started her family. Later her family moved to Salem, Oregon, where for several years she worked for the Federal Government, until her retirement. After her retirement, she came home to Utah.
Preceded in death by parents, Ed and Jane Brubaker, and her sister Trula Carlisle. She is survived by her two children, Stephanie and Ryan (Cheleana); two brothers John and Mike; sister Mary, six grandchildren (whom she loved dearly), and several nieces and nephews. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
