Moises “Moe” Gallegos, age 75, passed on January 24, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on August 15, 1943 In Catron, New Mexico. He Married Sue Ellen Farmer. His hobbies included gardening, making bonsai plants and trees, and he loved origami.
He is survived by his wife; Sue Ellen Gallegos, his children; Ann Marie (Kent) Owens and Corrie Ellen Golightly, his sisters; Deloris (Marv) Rollins, Margie (Mike) Francis, Angie Erickson, and Lilly Kofoed, his grandchildren; Tina Marie Beckmann, Scott and Jason Owens, Torie Ann Gallegos, Gabriel Sorenson, Kaurrie Alexandria Golightly, Aubry Ann Golightly, Kellen John Billings, and his beloved dogs; Sara and Tommy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Santiago and Inez Armijo Gallegos, his brother; James Gallegos, his son; John Jerome “JJ” Gallegos, brothers-in-law; Wendell “Swede” Erickson, Robert Kofoed, and his great-nephew; Thomas Herrera. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary (6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah) at 11:00AM with a viewing starting at 10:00AM. Interment at Taylorsville Cemetery.
