Mindy Maren Morgan

Mindy Maren Morgan (44), passed away on Monday, August 26th, 2024 after a courageous 3 year battle with breast cancer. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Born on March 1, 1980, Mindy touched the lives of those around her with her strong and loving spirit with the people she knew and loved most. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, she remained positive and focused on beating cancer. She never let her cancer and many treatments slow her down or allow her to lose focus on her joy for life with her family and friends. 

Mindy graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1999. She worked for most of her adult life doing housekeeping for several businesses. She took pride in the quality of her work and the friends she made.

Mindy is survived by her loving family, including her mom Karen Staten Morgan, brother Scott (Amani) Morgan, sister Michelle (Eric) Smith, nephews; Max, Drake, Zandre and Mason, niece Baylee and many close loving friends. Mindy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and enjoyed her sassy personality. She always made you know exactly how she felt and her love was evident for each person she loved. 

Mindy is preceded in death by her father Gerard Morgan III and her son Mason Scott Gerard Morgan. 

The family would like to thank the many nurses and doctors at Huntsman who cared directly for Mindy. She appreciated and loved each of them but Dr Rosie (deceased)

, Dr Ward, Laura, Abby and Amber left a special impression on Mindy and took such good care of her even up until her passing. 

A celebration of Mindy's life will be held on Sunday, September 15th at Falcon Park Pavillion (9200 S 1700 East, Sandy, UT) from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Please wear purple or butterflies to help honor Mindy at her celebration.
