Mindee Sue Friess Foster Orme

Mindee Sue Friess Foster Orme passed away the morning of May 10th 2020 at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on November 05th 1967 in Euguene, OR and brought to Salt Lake City, UT by her adopted parents. Married to Tim Orme on January 21st 2006.
Mindee was an incredibly talented florist for over 25 years and brought light and love to everyone around her. She loved crafting, shopping, seafood, music (especially 80’s), spending time with her family and friends and made and gave gifts to all she knew. Becoming a grandma to twins in August of 2019 was also one of her best memories. She loved animals, especially her dog Riley as well as his sisters Dee Dee and Tallia. She was an extremely positive influence and a beacon of strength in many people’s lives and touched the heart of so many with her kindness, generosity, faith and testimony in the Lord Jesus Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mindee graduated from West High School in 1986 and Married Thomas H. Foster on April 22nd 1988. She gave birth to their daughter Alicia on December 9th 1988. Both Mindee and Alicia were later sealed to Tom in the temple on December 22nd 1993.
She is survived by her husband Tim Orme, daughter Alicia Foster Jones, Stepson Zachary Orme, Son In-law Ryan Jones, grandchildren Xander and Elaina Jones, parents Ray and Voneal Friess, her sisters Sherry Stewart, Debra Kearl, Pamela Sundell and her brother Richard Friess, Mother In-law Carla Foster, Father In-law Richard G. Orme, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Thomas H. Foster, Father In-law Lynn H. Foster, Mother In-law Virginia Orme and grandparents.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
Due to the landscape of COVID-19, gatherings are limited to no more than 20 people at a time and masks are highly encouraged when you enter the building as well as when attending the graveside service. The viewing will be staggered so everyone can attend, but not all at once. During the graveside service, we ask that everyone practice social distancing. If you are experiencing any symptoms or are feeling ill, we kindly ask you to stay home.
