Mildred D Edwards

Mildred D Edwards, age 93, entered into eternal peace on Monday, January 16, 2017 at St Joseph Villa.  She was born on March 21, 1923. She was married to Nathaniel Edwards.  She enjoyed her job as a medical assistant for years.  Mildred was proud of being a part of the Eastern Stars, which she devoted a lot of time doing fundraisers and helping the community.  She is a proud member of Calvary Baptist Church and helped with the youth programs there.  She was also a member of the Four Fives club.  Mildred was a straight forward person, loving, caring, and told you what was on her mind, but was always there for you.  She was survived by son Fred J Edwards, special niece Barbara Ann Kennington, brother William L Price (Frankie), sister Lavern Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father and mother David and Ethel Price, husband Nathaniel Edwards, Brothers Orval Price, David Price Jr., and Lamonine Price.  Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 23, 2017 at 12:00 PM with a viewing one hour prior at Calvary Baptist Church, 1090 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.  Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.  A special thanks to Utah Home Health and Hospice, Yolanda, Ruth, and Heather for their wonderful care of Mildred.  And a special thank you to Alfonso Price.  In Lieu of flowers please donate to Utah Home Health and Hospice.
