Mildred Amy Jones

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born on August 27, 1925 to John Edwin and Julia Asplund in Murray, Utah where she spent her early years and attended Murray High School.
She married her husband of 60 years Chandler Jones on March 1, 1946. Together they shared a love of the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with family and friends.
Mildred had a big heart and spent her life in service of others. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed, especially by her family.
Mildred is survived by her children: Julianne (Mark) Lowe, Jeffery Jones, Jonathan (Bonnie) Jones, Linda Jones, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 19 great-great grandchildren and brother Harold (Carolyn) Asplund. Preceded in death by her loving husband Chandler, daughter Kathleen and sister Bernice Couton.
Memorial Service to be held June 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial 6500 So. Redwood Road. Visitation one hour prior to memorial. Interment at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
