Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Nephew, Uncle and friend Michael Paul Garrett passed away tragically on May 18th, 2018 from a motorcycle accident. He was doing something he loved (riding his Harley) with his loving wife Tina when they were hit from behind. He lived his life with kindness, caring, sharing and giving of himself. He was born on Feb 1st, 1968 to Dean Paul and Patricia Jean Bourne Garrett in Salt Lake City, Utah. He went to school at Kearns High his Sophomore and Junior year. Graduated from Glendale High School in 1986. Married to Nicola Jane in April 14, 1989. She was taken because of a careless accident in June of 1989. Married his sweetheart Tina Marie on September 1, 1990.
Michael was a very talented Master Mechanic. He began doing lube oil changes at Bountiful Mazda around 1992 and worked and trained himself into one of the best wrench turners anywhere. He was currently the shop foreman at Karl Malone Mitsubishi. Michael was always willing to help people with his talents and had many friends. He loved riding his Harley especially with Tina. It was his place to find peace from the pressures and trials of life. He had a contagious smile and sense of humor. We cannot even state how much he will be missed. Thanks so much Mike for everything you meant to each one of us who loved you.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Tina, his precious children Mariah (Brandon) Anderson, Shelby (Heidi) Garrett, Monica (Trevor) Alsop, Janita (Matt) Frost.
