Michael Kenneth Morris

Michael Kenneth Morris was born on November 12, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eve Morris and Jerry Hockett. Michael considered his stepfather Dick Ritchie to be his “real Dad”. Mike left us way too soon on January 27, 2021 after battling a long illness at his home in Magna, Utah. Mike loved to hike in Millcreek Canyon with his dogs and found peace there. He is and will be forever loved and missed!
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved Grandpa Arnold Morris, Stepdad Dick Ritchie, and Great Grandparents. He is survived by his Mom Eve Morris Ritchie, and sister, Niki Morris as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime best friend Eric. He was survived at the time of his death by his cherished grandma, Nora Morris, who has since joined him and other loved ones on the other side.
A private viewing for family and close friends was held February 3, 2021 at Memorial Mortuaries in Murray, Utah. A celebration of life was held on September 28, 2022 in Millcreek Canyon, Utah, Mike’s most beloved place to be.
