Michael was born on September 2, 1955 in Murray Utah to Ollie and Frank Fullmer. He passed away in his home on August 8, 2014.
Mike, in his short life, succeeded in many things but his greatest accomplishment was his family. He always helped his family with anything he could. He dedicated his life to making his wife and children feel happy and loved. He enrolled in the Navy at 17, beginning a long and fulfilling career working as a mechanic on A-6 and A-7 fighter jets on the USS Midway, USS Constellation and USS Enterprise and on TC4Cs on Whidbey Island. His passions included restoring old cars, building engines and his job, building signs, experimenting with cooking, taking mom fishing, and eating his sweets. He strived to be involved in all the interests his children had from car shows trucks, boats, movies, games and everything in between.
He was survived by his wife, Gail Marie Fullmer, his children: Michelle Christensen (Dave), Michael L. Fullmer (Brandi), Gail E. Fullmer, Jennifer Fullmer (Delmar), Duane Fullmer (Callie), Kevin Fullmer and his grandchildren: Joshua, Christian, Garrett, Michael, Adam, Riley and Cierra. His siblings: Gary, Delores, George, Patricia, Scott, Andy, Jesse, Shirl.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ollie Fullmer, his brother James (Jim, JT) Fullmer and nephew Clark Fullmer.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday August 15th at 2pm with a viewing beginning at 1pm at Mountain View Mortuary located at 3115 East 7800 South in Cottonwood Heights. Donations can be made at Key Bank under the Michael D. Fullmer Memorial fund.
